Engine Bits and Shopping Spree

So more work, finally after a few days at work and being pre-occupied and i've finally got the b***ard fuel injectors out after plenty of swearing and punching the engine bay due to tight bolts!
Also took the intake plenum out while I was at it and cleaned up the thermostat housing.

What else has been done.... erm! Spark plugs out. All the coil packs looks good visually but i'll check them at a later date. Also taken the old throttle body off which i'll replace with one I rebuilt a little while ago and using the cleaned and repainted intake plenum from my pile of ca18det bits!

So the shopping list. So far i've bought:

• Injector Cleaning Service
- £56
• BNR32 Rear Brake Calipers from a GTR (with good pads and all it's bits!)
- £110
• Z32 BN57 Brake Master Cylinder
- £45
• Caliper Refurbishment Service (for my s14 Sumitomo 4 pot Calipers)
- £130ish (tba)
• Various cans of primer and paint
- £20ish
• Paint & Rust remover (angle grinder attachment)
- £7.99
• Wire Brush
- £3.99

Stuff To Purchse:

• Uprated Clutch
- £199
• Lightweight Flywheel
- £250
• Solid Steering Bush
- £17.22
• Poly Subframe Bushes
- £66.38

...the list goes on, but you get the idea!

Oh yea, and I found the remains of another field mouse (yes another, there was a dead one in the boot when i first bought the car)! This time trapped in between the intake plenum and manifold!

That would be the fluffy corpse of a field mouse!

Cleaned up Thermostat housing

The engine bay starting to look a little sparse! Still far too much junk in there that just isn't needed though!
